Kia Forum: UV-Resistant Hedge Barriers
64 Modular Panels for Traffic Control

When the Kia Forum needed an elegant yet functional solution to manage crowd flow and restrict access areas, they turned to Geranium Street. We designed and installed 64 custom modular hedge panels that provide durable, movable barriers without sacrificing aesthetics.
The Challenge
The primary challenge was twofold: directing high-volume foot traffic efficiently and creating clear, physical boundaries to prevent guests from entering restricted areas. Traditional solutions like rope stanchions or metal barricades were visually unappealing and clashed with the venue's atmosphere.
Our Solution
Geranium Street engineered a custom barrier system using 64 individual panels, each 4 feet tall by 8 feet long, creating over 500 square feet of instant green barrier. Each panel features commercial-grade, UV-resistant synthetic foliage with weighted bases for stability.
- UV-resistant materials
- Modular design
- Weighted bases
- Easy reconfiguration
Implementation
Our manufacturing team produced all 64 custom hedge panels with rigorous quality control. Delivery was coordinated precisely during a scheduled maintenance window. The modular nature meant no complex installation—panels were simply placed in the desired formation.

The Results
The Kia Forum now utilizes a barrier system that is both highly effective and aesthetically superior. The lush, green hedges provide a clear visual and physical boundary that guests intuitively respect, significantly improving traffic flow.
Geranium Street's hedge barriers solved a persistent operational challenge for us in the most elegant way possible. They are incredibly sturdy when we need them to be, yet our team can rearrange them in minutes.
